Okay, so when you're in LA beyond obviously stopping by the Kodak, you have to go to Mashti Malone's on Cahuenga. Irish Iranian ice cream. If you like Indian food there's a place on Ventura in the valley I highly recommend. OMG they fucking rock. You totally have to go to Venice down to Muscle Beach. Not for the scary muscles but for the beach, the cheap shopping and if you're there on a Saturdy the homeless have drum cirlce.

Oh then you should go to the Fashion District downtown. Super cheap clothes and shoes. Totally looks like a Spanish Calcutta but totally worth it.

You can take Amtrack from San Diego to Union Station in LA and it shouldn't cost you more than 15-30 bucks. They run trains all the time. The train even goes fairly near Disneyland. There's always Universal for the park and the CityWalk. At least do CityWalk. Oh and NBC has free shows but if you go to the Kodak you should find somebody hawking free tickets. Jimmy Kimmel is filmed right across the street from the Kodak. oo! the El Capitan is next door to him. I never got to go there, always wanted to, but you should totally go see some kiddy flick there. It is a theater experience not to be missed.

If you have the cash, book a Graveline tour. You'll enjoy it I'm sure.

I'll have much more later.

Oh and you can the red line straight to the Wiltern -- its across the street.

If you want to geek it up and shop for movie books only I can direct you to Samuel French. Warner Brothers has tours on the lot but they're spendy.

Lots of people love to go shopping on Melrose but its hella expensive and not worth it except for people watching and Pink's. Pink's is a 24 hour hot dog place. It is an LA tradition and you should go.

Oh, and you might want to hold off on the Graveline tour. That should be for when you get to go with Bill. I think Bill would love the Graveline tour. (and now that I think of it, I think they changed their name.)

Crap. there were other things I thought of but now I've forgot. We will chat at some point.
