Dorktastic moment #17 trillion:

While I was driving home I noticed that I had a lot of cough drop wrappers in my cup holder so while I was waiting for the last light that stood between me and my house to turn green, I balled the trash up in my fist, intending on throwing them in my garbage when I got home. So, after I parked my car, I got out and walked to the garbage, opened the lid and threw away what was in my hand. I went back to my car to get my purse when I realised that I still had the wrappers in my hand. It took me a minute before I realised that I totally threw my car keys in the garbage. When it hit me, I promptly busted a gut laughing.

LOL, oh dear.

Hee! I haven't done exactly that yet, but I *have* been holding two things-- my wallet and a cup full of gum wrappers and assorted small trash-- over a garbage can. One guess which hand dumped it's contents in the can?

Hee, I bet I'll do that one of these days! I'm just waiting for the day that I throw away my phone in the garbage. One my cousins accidentally dropped her cell in the toilet once. One way of getting a new phone if you've been wanting a different one.
