About time
23 April 2008 22:24I was watching L&O Mothership with my mom tonight when she told me that this was Jesse L. Martin's last episode. I was all like, "WTF, really?!!!! He can do more singing now!" :D But then I said, "Oh, wait, he should just go on over and join L&O: SVU and be doubly hot with Christopher Meloni!" It would totally get me watching SVU again. Heh. (sidenote: I am totally going to be watching the Robin Williams guest star eppy that is next week...er, I think.)
I've always thought Jesse L. Martin hot, but he was extra fucking hot in tonight's episode. 0mg, serious. I didn't know I could cry and drool at the same time until I watched the end of tonight's episode. Haha, I is a geek, yes.

In other news: I spent most of the afternoon and evening with TT and Bode. I've missed that spaz pup so much!!! TT and I got to have long conversations about everything and nothing, it was fantastic. I don't think I've ever been able to talk so openly and candidly with anyone in my family like I can with TT, not even my mom or sister, which, yeah, is sad. TT listens without judgment and gives fresh perspective and avenues of thinking, my mom and sister aren't as willing to think outside of the box, so to speak. If that makes any sense at all.
I hope to spend more time with both TT and Bode as soon as I get back to my regularly scheduled life. :)

ETA - 11:09pm: Apparently, snow is predicted for this weekend. If true: 0mfg, Mother Nature, stop with the hate already. But I really hope the weather people are talking out of their asses again. *crosses fingers* We've been getting some solid great weather, minus the thunderstorm we needed on Monday, since last week. I want it to stay longer, please and thank you!

New episodes of Supernatural startthis next Thursday!!!!!! (eta: bwahahahaha, I didn't look too closely at the date, *is lame*) YAYES!!!!!!!!!!! 0mg, I'm so excited that teh pretty will be back!!!!! I'm going to Target tonight to buy the second season because I've realised not for the first time that I don't own it and SHOULD. WTF, self? For shame. I always miss the sales so if it's not on sale, I'm buying it anyway. To me, the show is worth whatever I have to spend on the DVDs. I still have "Jus in Bello" saved on my DVR. I need to watch that one more time before next Thursday! So much damn love for that episode! ♥

I woke up an hour ago. Sigh. Suffice it to say I got nothing accomplished today. My own fault. I was the one that stayed up until 4am, then waking up at 6am for a bit before crashing again. I could get some stuff done around here, but the things I wanted to do around town are going to have to be put on hold until Monday. Oh well, I guess.

It was a New World then, you could have explored and found a way to live on land that was different from the old.
California would have been splendid. I could live with earthquakes and floods.

I know that Minnesota has had mild winters lately, and this is Mother Nature's way of saying, "You thought I forgot about you lot, [insert evil doer laugh here]!", but nobody should have to deal with -15 degree weather, plus whatever the frakk the wind chill is.
Buuuuuuuuurrr.

Past six weeks
4 December 2007 23:43Nothing much to report on from the past six weeks, hence why I haven't really been using my LJ.
I wish I could say I've been out OCD'ing all over life's ass, but the truth is that I am just getting by. I've basically been going through the motions of working, sleeping, eating, reading, and watching TV and movies. Rinse and repeat.
I know I can be better than how I currently am. I just have to find my confidence and determination again. I'm pretty sure it has gotten lost in all the crap I have dumped on myself.
So. Yeah. I'm just trying to figure some stuff out.
P.S. Today is only the second real snowfall, but I'm already sick of it. I'm beyond ready for a geographical relocation.

Dude. Why can't we have this type of weather more and less of that evil cold and white stuff?
I've lived here all my life, you would think I would be use to it, but no, I'm not. Granted, we don't get 3 months worth of snow anymore, for which I am grateful, but I'm just done with cold weather and snow. On the other hand, I should be grateful I don't live on the Northeast. They seem to get hit with the evil stuff every year, and get hit with it in spades. :(
On a complete sidenote: My new client has gotten me addicted to Sudoku. I only had a mild curiosity before, but now I'm a bit engrossed in the books she gave me. She is evil, yes. ;)

I may or may not have hugged and kissed my Buffy boxed set.
I'm so excited to re-watch Buffy now. It was unhealthy how much I loved that show. I mean, Buffy is the show, the show that started it all. If it weren't for Buffy I don't think I would have been addicted to TV like I am. I wouldn't have been watching any TV shows religiously at any rate. I would have just been watching random eppys of procedurals and comedies or something. Which, besides cartoons and Nick-at-Nite, that's all I watched back then. I'm still wondering if that would have been probably for the best.
Hee, no, I'm happy that my 13-year-old self decided to watch "School Hard" after dinner all those years ago. :)
On another Joss Whedon note, I never got to watch Firefly. I think I watched one episode, but that's about it, so I can't wait to start watching the series.

Later on, I'm gonna have to buy the boxed sets of Angel and re-watch that show, too. EEE!
