dancingstellaThe Golden Globe winners are being announced on Entertainment Tonight.
LOL, this has to be a first. It is such a non-event without the crazy, hilarious alcoholic-induced antics that the actual award show can give.
I mean, the awards shows that allow everyone to sit at tables and drink are the best award shows to watch, imo.
ETA: The HFPA site has already announced winners that ET hasn't.
01.) I LOVE that Ellen Page and Nikki Blonsky didn't win, no matter how much I love them and the movies they were in. But that is only because I love Marion Cotillard so much more. :D
02.) I may not have watched Damages (yet), but I am happy that Glenn Close won! She is one of my favourite actresses.
03.) I might have to reconsider watching Californication. I saw the pilot at MTG's place when I was down in TX for ACL back in September, but I never did get around to watching the rest of the series.
04.) I started watching Mad Men because it was OnDemand for free (at least it was for me) a month or two ago, but now it isn't so..:(. It is definitely a show I love (so far).
05.) JOHNNY & Sweeney Todd WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
06.) Atonement doesn't deserve the Best Picture-Drama award, imo.
07.) Of what I've seen of his, I love Daniel Day-Lewis. I might try and spend tomorrow in Uptown and see There Will Be Blood. I hear great, amazing things, which is awesome because I have been waiting forever for P.T. Anderson to come out with another film!!!
08.) No Country for Old Men's Javier Bardem deserved his win. He was freaking creepy, man.
