I keep forgetting, and am constantly amazed, that I can rewind live TV.

Case in point: tonight, just a bit ago in fact, I was all bummed that I missed the beginning of David Letterman interviewing Kevin Spacey until the end, when it hit me: I CAN REWIND LIVE TV.

*facepalm* We've only had the DVR since....well, damn, uh, late last year or early this year? IDEK anymore.

Yeah, the simple things amaze me. :P

ETA: Sad, I just made a Kevin Spacey tag for the first time. WTF self? I adore that man, yet that is the first time I've fangirled him on here? Or maybe I have, but I just haven't tagged all my entries yet? *shrugs* Whatever, I have to finish with today's pictures.

I lied, I didn't go to bed.

I was totally on Cl flagging miscategorized ads. It gets addictive after awhile, wot? It was while I was flagging ads for The Swell Season in the ticket section that it registered that the show is on the same night that I'm seeing DeVotchKa with my family.

Fuck, I really want to work The Swell Season show. But, but, DeVotchKa. Live.

I don't know what I'm going to do now. *headdesk*

Total sidenote: While searching Last.FM's event page, I came across a band with the name of Tom Cruise Control. *fallsover* LMAO.

P.S. Google can stop being a bitch any time now, thanks.

I might have only seen a few episodes, but I've adored him in all of them! :D

I have to finish some cleaning before my stepmom and I go to MoA to see 27 Dresses and do some browsing!

The Golden Globe winners are being announced on Entertainment Tonight.

LOL, this has to be a first. It is such a non-event without the crazy, hilarious alcoholic-induced antics that the actual award show can give.

I mean, the awards shows that allow everyone to sit at tables and drink are the best award shows to watch, imo.

ETA: The HFPA site has already announced winners that ET hasn't.

My older sister just called me from the Smashing Pumpkins concert. I didn't go and she called me to let me listen to a bit of it. Awww.

Then she told me that she is going to buy me a ticket to the Modest Mouse concert that takes place in December, as a late birthday present (she promised a shopping spree in Chicago that never happened). Hahahaha, I told her I already bought myself a ticket, but then she told me she would pay me back. Hee. Then she is all like, "We'll go together, you can sleep over and all that fun stuff!"

LOL, my sister is only openly affectionate, fun-loving and a darling like that when she has had a few drinks. Ah, the power of alcohol.

This entry brought to LJ by an amused mirsiri.

I got home about an hour ago. I haven't started watching the NBC premieres that I taped yet. I wanted to eat and relax first.

Instead, I headed back over to that paperdoll site and noticed that one of the first names on their new paperdoll list was Jensen Ackles. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha, too funny. They have had a Jared Padalecki paperdoll for a long while but this is the first time I am noticing a Jensen Ackles paperdoll.

I just can't stop laughing at them (it's been awhile since I have seen the JP one).

I'm on the "Homecoming" episode of Heroes right now and I just fell off the couch from laughing my ass off because of Claire punching Jackie in the face!!

ETA: I just finished the episode. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! )

Okay, I think I will hold off my excitement to keep going in order to get some sleep.

So, I found this paperdoll site (almost) two years ago, by total accident. It was called something else before Stardoll (plain old "paperdoll heaven", I think). It's a riot. When I'm bored, I find myself still going to the site to play around with the various paperdolls. Hee.

Anyway, I found the original Dan Radcliffe doll first. I was laughing so hard while putting clothes on him. However, the original paperdoll Dan doesn't hold a candle to the new paperdoll Dan! I have been on the floor laughing my ass off for the past 5 minutes. They have a Dobby doll included with this one! *dies a little bit* All that Dobby porn I read/looked at way back when is haunting me now. LOLOLOLOL, too funny!

I'm not big on celebrating July 4th for some reason. I like to watch the fireworks from my roof and that's about it. If not liking parties makes me unpatriotic then I must be a terrorist. ^_^

Boredom = Blogthings memes.

These always manage to crack me up in their ridiculousness! )

Happy fun and safe Independence Day (or what's left of it) to any and all! :)

MTG and I were chatting on AIM last night. Like always, he was sharing what he reads over on Something Awful with me. This time he was IM'ing me tidbits from a thread entitled "Freudian Slips. I said what now!?". Too funny.

HEE.

I love turning my phone back on, hours after the movie ended, and finding a random prank voicemail!

Either someone dialed my number by accident or someone I vaguely to closely know prank called me. Whichever, it was hilarious.

If it was some sad, drunken fool...well, it was still hilarious, if not a bit sad. Hee.

The girl said something like she has nobody else to talk to before breaking down into fake cries, sobbing that her 13-year-old daughter is pregnant with a neighborhood boy's baby (?). Random much? I LOVE IT!

How do I know it's a prank? The silly kid, and someone else, giggled before hanging up.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA, 0mg that was awesome!!

Thank you, prank call girl, whoever you and your friend(s) are!!! :D

Hehehehe, these are hilarious (to me, anyway)!!

I need to stop now. I knew drinking all that soda was not a good thing.

Examples:
1.) "We'd get gratuitous shots of Sucre tonguing down Michael."
2.) "Two words: Naked. Michael."
3.) "But naked Michael, Sucre, and Linc would be worth the wait."

From the PB thread: What If? It's Not FOX, It's HBO...

Basically, all they're doing is making PB into Oz (Or as somebody suggested in the thread: Oz: The Next Generation). Heh. Ironically enough, I've always considered PB to be the stupidly tamed younger sibling to Oz.

MTG and I are chatting on AIM right now and he keeps showing me these "actor/director's stereotypical movie" posters. I've laughed at many, but the one he just showed me wins at life.

I haven't laughed so hard in my life...okay, maybe I have, but I'm still giggling here. )

HEEE, that pic is hilarious!

I should be in bed. Only, I'm wide awake. Sigh.

Dear Leaf Blower Dude,

Thanks for giving me a heart attack.

No love,
mirsiri

Man, that was hilariously freaky. I heard this loud vacuum WHOOSH sound and before I knew it, dust and newly mowed grass was blown into my open window (not even open that far).

Fun stuff. I just need my heart to get out of my throat now. Hee.

You know, these caps help so much!!! Is it the 5th yet?!?

paper doll Dan Radcliffe. *snorts*

The site has many other celebrities (i.e. Tobey Maguire & Kirsten Dunst, Keira Knightley, Katie Holmes, Johnny Depp, etc.) you can dress and makeover, too. Hilarious.

I think I could have a bit too much fun at this site.
