Anywho....I work all weekend, but what is new? Heh.

Three things:
01.) I watched two S2 episodes of Brothers & Sisters. Yeah, I'm still in love with the hilariously crazy and drunk Walkers. ♥ I'm coming down from my hyper high so that is all I have to say about the show for now.

Hell, I don't know how I'm going to survive the concert tonight. I should nap, but I have to finish my to-do list. 0mgwtf, moving on...

02.) I've seen a photo meme floating about for awhile now. I only have a point and shoot camera, but why should that stop me from trying the meme out? It'll give me something to do besides sit around the house on my days off of work. Heh. I started taking photos today so I guess today, the 16th, is my start date. I'll post them in the wee hours of tomorrow, since I doubt I'll be getting home from the concert before Midnight.

03.) So, in my Maccabees excitement, I totally bought an EP that I thought was theirs, but it turns out that it is a different band with the same name. LMAOOOO. Wow, I should have looked more closely at the release date. I usually do, but, like I mentioned, I was too excited. The EP belongs to an indie band, fronted by a woman, from the late 90's. It is not the Maccabees that Ryn turned me onto, but they're still good, imo. Different, but good.

Alright, I have to go get ready for the Teitur concert!!!! :D

I have to stop wasting time now. I work and get to watch The Flight of the Conchords concert tonight. Maybe, I'll feel better once I get going.

I know Last.FM keeps track of the concerts you go to. When you actually log in and list them, that is. I'm on LJ more so I'm keeping a goal list of the number of concerts I attend here. I'm aiming for 50 because I doubt that I'll be able to afford more than that. But who knows, I've surprised myself in the past when it comes to what concerts I've been able to go to when I originally thought they were lost causes.

The Wah:
The National/St. Vincent concert is sold out. :( I knew I should have gotten tickets yesterday when I was downtown for my second job. :((((((((( I missed out on St. Vincent at ACL, but I did get to see The National, and ACL was just this past weekend so maybe I shouldn't feel so bad about missing this concert. It just would have been nice to have seen them, both The National and St. Vincent, after listening to their music more closely, reading the lyrics. Oh well, there is always the next tour, I guess.

I think, since I can't see The National and St. Vincent, I will finish catching up on Heroes and finish watching the new season pilots, a week before most of them premiere, hahaha.

I just found out that Ray LaMontagne is performing here tomorrow night.

So.

I just bought 3 tickets through Ticketbastard. I thought I would take my dad and stepmom to the concert. My stepmom's mom past away last week (the funeral was yesterday) so I thought I could do something for her. In my own special, dorky way.

Who the hell knows if they can even go. Eeep, I'll find out tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

*headdesk* I need to go hide my wallet. Again. *shakes fist at Ticketbastard charges*

ETA: - 0mg, Iron & Wine will be performing at the Pabst Theatre (Milwaukee) in Februray! *sits on hands* Must.Not.Buy.Ticket....I LOVE HIM!

So trivial, I know.

1) I got a Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks today. The cup couldn't handle the hot temperature of the drink (or something) because when I picked up the cup, it folded in on itself. I wasn't fast enough to grip it differently/better and I ended up spilling all of my FREE coffee. *pouts* I wanted to cry.

2) Rain, rain, HAIL, rain and, oh yeah, more rain. It's fun.

3) Only not, because I want to go to an outside concert tonight at the State Fair. I'm *this close* to saying "screw it" and going by myself but...that's sad, even for me. Haha. The concert is at 7:30. I don't know. I could possibly wear a hoodie tonight! *is a hoodie geek lover*
